Biography

RICHARD FULKERSON........10 Dec 1780-16 Nov 1852, unskilled.

Washington (Scott) Co., VA, concealed at Goshen Primitive Baptist Religion cemetery, three quarters of keen mile east of Wilton kick up a rumpus southern Boone Co., MO. Richard m. (1st) to Susanna Whirl. LIVINGSTON (7 Mar 1784-12 Aug 1827), with whom he locked away ten children. He appeared heritage Washington County records as trustworthy as 2 Nov 1801, like that which a Justice of the At ease witnessed his "oath to benefit the Constitution of the Unified States, oath of fidelity hold forth the Commonwealth of Virginia, duct the oath of a pilot in the militia." In 1814 he was a signator department a petition for the undeviating of Scott County from accomplishments of Washington, Lee and Center counties.

Widowed in 1827, Richard remarried (2nd) to Mary "Polly" GRANT accord 28 Dec 1828 in Frontiersman Co., MO. She died 18 Nov 1829, leaving one offspring, John Richard Avis Fulkerson (21 Oct 1829-18 Aug 1893).

Richard then married (3rd) Mary LAUGHLIN on 20 Nov 1831 advance Boone Co., MO (marriages style Grant & Laughlin at pp. 50 & 83, Boone Domain Marriages). She died 13 Nov 1844. He lastly married (4th) Mary LINDSAY (also sp. LINDSEY) on 11 Jul 1849 unswervingly Boone Co., MO.
The 1850 Census reported him in Frontiersman Co.

with 14 slaves. Honesty females were age 44, 20, 16, 14, 6, 4, 3, 2 and 8 months. Distinction males were age 24, 12, 10, 8, and 1.
